Synergy Hard Floor System

A System That Delivers

The Synergy Hard Floor System (SHFS) eliminates the need to strip wax and burnish terazzo and manufactured vinyl flooring (such as Vinyl Composition Tile), bringing the same kind of protection against harmful chemicals and wear traffic as with the Synergy Concrete System while reducing the amount of time and money required to maintain the floors.  Additionally, SHFS works great for nearly all anti-graffiti applications.  If you are looking for a way to protect VCT and reduce VCT maintenance costs, this is the best option.

Synergy Hard Floor System Advantages

Synergy Hard Floor System on VCT and Terazzo

The ViteraLoc (part of the SHFS) is the ideal coating for Terazzo, VCT and other manufactured  vinyl floor coverings.  It gives better protection against wear and staining than typical waxes without the maintenance and the costs associated with that maintenance.  Additionally, ViteraLoc will maintain its sheen for years without needing any stripping or re-coating.  When the time comes to spruce up the floor (if it ever begins to look dull in high traffic areas) it is easy to scuff the floor and re-apply the ViteraLoc.  No stripping is ever required.

Application

Application of SHFS is very simple.  To start, strip the floor if needed.  This will be the last time that you will strip the floor, so make sure that you get everything as clean as possible and looking pristine; any contaminants or yellowing on the floor will become a permanent feature of the floor.  If the floor is already to your satisfaction, no stripping is required.  If no other floor finish is already applied, apply one or two coats of Atomic AcrylaCoat as a primer to fill the pores and add a depth of gloss to the floor (apply.  Next, using acetone-resistant pump sprayers (we recommend and sell the SP ACT35 sprayer) apply the ViteraLoc about 3 wet mils thick, or with a coverage rate of 500 square feet per gallon.  It is important to get as close to 500 sq ft per gallon as possible because this offers the best protection for the floor.  The floor will be ready for regular foot traffic 4 hours after the application.

Different Uses

Possible applications for the ViteraLoc are many and varied, so we have compiled a list of some of the more prominant ones below.

  • Public Schools
  • Universities
  • Retail outlets
  • Convenience Stores
  • Grocery Stores
  • Military bases
  • Stadiums
  • Any business with VCT floors

A Friendly System

As with all of our products, SHFS is comprised of two different sealers/coatings that are low in VOCs.  The odor is mild and will quickly evaporate after the application of the ViteraLoc.  While it is a safe system, we always recommend that the applicator wear respiratory protection with any spray application.  In addition to the sealers themselves, this system eliminates copious amounts of waste because there is never need to strip or wax the floors again, meaning that thousands of gallons can be prevented from becoming waste.

Set up a Meeting and Demonstration

We have found that the best way to show you how our product works and to show you its value is to set up a meeting/demonstration.  One of our product specialists will come and spray the product on a section of your floor for your own testing.  If you are interested in setting up a meeting, please contact us.
